Back in December 2000, the company’s creative confectioners at Hammond’s Candies cooked up something a little different for the season. Gathering friends and families of every kind, Hammond’s successfully held their 1st Annual Candy Cane Festival where entertainment, arts and crafts, and –as usual – their free factory tours were held. A couple months ago, we received a comment passed along from a customer. While enjoying her stay in Denver, she visited us for some classic, American candies. Upon returning home to Australia, she was going through airport customs when security stopped her upon finding a bag of our Chicken Bones. It was then, that our customer had to explain that they were not actually chicken bones, but rather a confection from Hammond’s. Read more...
