Here's a romantic Valentine's Day fantasy: You are whisked off for a holiday week in Paris, and on Valentine's Day, your flowers are plucked and presented to you from the sidewalk display of a boutique florist. Then you are taken to a chic candy shop where you can pick out another bouquet -- luscious, hand-crafted caramels in a riot of colors representing various flavors created by the man who first made salted caramel. Read more...

Sprinkled Memories

Wednesday, March 20, 2013 | Comments: (0)

From messes to masterpieces, the kitchen is where memories are made.

I’ll never forget the first time I rolled my own pizza dough, first time I used olive oil instead of canola oil to ruin 24 muffins, or the first time I made a birthday cheesecake from scratch. The endless ingredients, aromas and recipes create an environment filled with laughter, joy and full stomachs. Read more...

Only One Mitchell Sweet?

Monday, February 18, 2013 | Comments: (0)

As the radio played, time ticked away and the conversation seemed to die out. The minutes seemed to turn into hours which only made the stop and go traffic more unbearable.
